Internship Overview

• 📌 Position: Analytics and Data Summer Intern

• 📍 Location: Charlotte, NC / Chandler, AZ / Dallas, TX / Minneapolis, MN / Des Moines, IA

• ⏱ Time Commitment: Full-time, Summer 2026

This internship is part of Wells Fargo’s Early Careers program, designed to give undergraduate students a real-world understanding of the analytics landscape within one of the world’s most respected financial institutions. It goes beyond classroom learning, placing you directly into business units where you’ll apply your skills in analytics, data visualization, automation, and decision-making.

Roles & Responsibilities

During this internship, you’ll take on responsibilities that will help you build technical proficiency, analytical thinking, and cross-functional collaboration skills:
• Work on real-world data analysis and decision-making projects
• Translate complex data into business insights and actionable solutions
• Use tools like SQL, Python, Tableau, Power BI, and Excel for data modeling and visualization
• Contribute to the development of internal dashboards and reports
• Participate in group projects and collaborate with interns and analysts across teams
• Engage in leadership talks, feedback sessions, and professional development events
• Join team meetings and contribute ideas to help streamline operations
• Gain exposure to business strategies, risk management, and compliance programs

Qualifications & Eligibility

Wells Fargo is looking for enthusiastic, driven, and detail-oriented students who are eager to grow:
• Must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree with a graduation date between December 2026 – June 2027
• Preferred majors: Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Finance, Economics, Applied Math, or any related quantitative discipline
• Minimum 6 months of work, internship, or project experience (academic or professional)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Familiarity with SQL, Python, Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools is a big plus
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (Wells Fargo does not offer visa sponsorship)
