Internship Overview

• 📌 Position: Security Engineering Intern
• 📍 Location: Austin, TX; Fremont, CA; Palo Alto, CA; Bellevue, WA
• 🗓 Duration: Fall 2025
• ⏱ Time Commitment: Full-time

Roles & Responsibilities

• Work with Platform Engineering and Development teams to manage and deploy enterprise security tools
• Investigate insider threats and help protect Tesla’s intellectual property
• Conduct threat research and analyze external cyber risks and attack patterns
• Support digital forensics, incident response, and proactive security initiatives

Qualifications & Eligibility

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
• Graduation expected in 2025 or 2026
• Proficiency in Python, Go, Java, or other relevant programming languages
• Familiarity with SIEM tools, SQL, or Splunk is a plus
• Must be able to work 40 hours/week on-site; CPT students should verify full-time eligibility
• Note: Tesla does not offer sponsorship for full-time roles after the internship
