Internship Overview

📌 Role: Software Engineer Intern
📍 Location: Bellevue, Washington, USA or Menlo Park, California
⏱ Time Commitment:Full-time, 40 hours/week

Roles & Responsibilities

Create and implement scalable software solutions in the core engineering teams of Snowflake
Participate in the design of compilers, execution engines, database architecture, and query compilation
Work on cloud integrations, containerized services, or high-performance data processing systems
Examine and apply elements of large-scale distributed systems that are utilized in practical situations
Work together across functional boundaries and get ongoing coaching and feedback

Qualifications & Eligibility

Must be enrolled in a computer science, engineering, or related degree program (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD)
Third or fourth year undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral students are the preferred class level
Completed courses in object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms
Strong C++ or Java coding abilities (ideally C++20 or Java 20)
Bonus: Knowledge of databases, cloud platforms, open-source projects, and distributed systems
Permission to work in the United States (without sponsorship for a visa)
