Internship Overview

• 📌 Position: Sales Development Intern
• 📍 Location: Burlington, MA (Hybrid)
• ⏱ Time Commitment: Full-time (40 hours/week)

Roles & Responsibilities

As a Sales Development Executive Intern at SAP, you’ll take on a dynamic role that combines strategy, customer outreach, and sales execution. Your main responsibilities will include:
• Identifying new business opportunities and setting up meetings through outreach on phone, email, and LinkedIn
• Supporting regional sales strategies and assisting in territory planning and demand generation efforts
• Engaging with potential clients and qualifying leads to support pipeline development
• Collaborating closely with sales, marketing, and demand teams to align on priorities
• Logging activity and maintaining clean, accurate records using CRM tools
• Attending regular team meetings and reporting on campaign effectiveness
• Contributing to pipeline acceleration and sales enablement projects

Throughout your time, you’ll also gain exposure to SAP’s sales methodology, participate in learning sessions, and receive mentoring from industry professionals.

Qualifications & Eligibility

This opportunity is open to early-career professionals and students meeting the following criteria:
• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in a relevant discipline
• Internship must start within six months of graduation date
• Strong communication skills—both verbal and written
• Interest in sales strategy, digital tools, and customer engagement
• Willingness to learn, problem-solve, and push through challenges
• Self-motivated with good time management and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment and collaborate across teams
