This internship is part of Mercedes-Benz USA’s Engineering Services – Product Technical Support (PTS) team. Interns work alongside experienced service engineers who support both pre-sales and after-sales operations. Rather than shadowing from a distance, interns are actively involved in technical documentation, diagnostics, issue tracking, and process improvement initiatives that directly support dealers and customers across the U.S. market.

Roles & Responsibilities

As a Junior Associate Consultant Intern, your work will be technical, analytical, and impact-driven. Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting service engineers in identifying, tracking, and resolving vehicle-related issues across Mercedes-Benz model lines
• Assisting with component-level teardown activities and root cause analysis
• Collaborating with internal MBUSA teams to support dealer and product needs
• Creating dashboards and reports to help engineers monitor trends and performance
• Supporting the development of AI-based tools or bots to assist engineering workflows
• Helping improve technical documentation and training materials for dealer networks

Qualifications & Eligibility

Candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program or graduated within the last 12 months

• Able to work up to 28 hours per week on a hybrid schedule
