Internship Overview
• 📌 Position: Software Engineer Program – Summer Intern
• 📍 Locations: Choose from 10 tech hubs—Austin TX, Chicago IL, Columbus OH, Houston TX, Jersey City NJ, New York NY, Palo Alto CA, Plano TX, Tampa FL, Wilmington DE.
• ⏱ Time Commitment: Full-time
Roles & Responsibilities
• Own a project end-to-end—write the technical plan, set sprint milestones, and demo your MVP at Expo Day.
• Code in Python, Java, C++, JavaScript/React, or C# to craft APIs, data pipelines, trading engines, or consumer-banking features.
• Write unit, integration, and load tests; weave security scans and static analysis into CI/CD pipelines so code ships clean.
• Engineer for scale—profile performance, optimize queries, and design fault-tolerant services that process millions of daily transactions with sub-second latency.
• Pair-program with staff engineers, attend brown-bag sessions on cloud, AI/ML, and cyber-defense, and contribute to open-source or internal hackathon projects.
• Document architecture choices, produce run-books, and create dashboards so future teams can iterate quickly.
• Present progress updates during sprint reviews and refine the backlog through customer-feedback loops.
Qualifications & Eligibility
• Current bachelor’s or five-year master’s student graduating December 2026 – June 2027 (CS, CE, EE, Math, or related field preferred).
• Solid grasp of at least one programming language; familiarity with algorithms, data structures, and database fundamentals.
• Baseline knowledge of modern disciplines—cloud micro-services, mobile, AI/ML, or big-data stacks.
• Comfort working in large, agile, globally distributed teams; commitment to inclusive idea-sharing.
• U.S. work authorization required; OPT/CPT or future visa sponsorship not available for this program.
• Bonus points for hackathon wins, open-source commits, fintech side projects, or evidence of DevOps/CI experience.
