Internship Overview

📌 Position: Safety Intern – Fall 2025
📍 Location: Multiple U.S. locations including Ohio, Alabama, Indiana, Georgia, Michigan, and California
⏱ Time Commitment: Full-time

Roles & Responsibilities

As a Safety Co-op/Intern, your work will have a real impact. Key responsibilities include:

Supporting safety audits and compliance evaluations (OSHA, ANSI, NFPA standards)
Participating in confined space and fall hazard assessments
Assisting in developing and updating safety protocols and documentation
Tracking and analyzing safety data to support regulatory requirements
Collaborating with engineers and safety teams on site-wide safety improvements
Contributing to risk mitigation efforts and site safety reviews

Qualifications & Eligibility

This opportunity is open to motivated students who meet the following criteria:

Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field
Minimum 2.5 GPA (must submit transcript)
Class status: Sophomore or above by credit hour
Available to work full-time for the entire internship period
Possess a valid U.S. driver’s license
Able to arrange reliable daily transportation to and from the internship site
Previous coursework or experience in safety compliance is a plus
