This is a full-time summer internship that blends hands-on analytics work with exposure to healthcare applications, offering a unique opportunity to impact lives through data.

Roles & Responsibilities

As a Data Analytics Intern, you’ll be immersed in real-time data environments and contribute to the enhancement of GE’s medical device performance and clinical support operations. Expect to:

• Design interactive Power BI dashboards to visualize device metrics and clinical insights
• Work with data from SQL Server, Excel, and cloud platforms to uncover trends and drive decisions
• Automate data pipelines using Power Automate and Power Apps for reporting efficiency
• Collaborate across cross-functional teams including data scientists, clinical engineers, and field operations
• Apply machine learning models to detect device usage patterns or anomalies
• Assist in predictive modeling to optimize technician dispatch and reduce service downtime
• Present findings in a structured manner to senior stakeholders
• Contribute to ad-hoc analytics requests and broader process improvements

Qualifications & Eligibility

This internship is ideal for students with strong analytical foundations and a desire to create impact in healthcare through data. Here’s what GE is looking for:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Hands-on experience with Power BI, SSAS, SSRS, or SSIS preferred
• Knowledge of DAX, Power Query, and general BI dashboard building
• Proficiency in Python, R, and SQL
• Exposure to JavaScript, CSS, and web-based reporting frameworks is a plus
• Experience with biomedical or clinical datasets is a bonus
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship available
