This internship is part of EY’s renowned 360 Careers Experience, offering an immersive opportunity that rotates interns across various assurance and tax service lines, sharpening both technical accounting acumen and business fluency.
Roles & Responsibilities
As a TAAG Intern, you won’t be stuck doing clerical tasks. Instead, you’ll engage in meaningful, high-impact work that mimics the challenges full-time consultants handle:
• Assist senior consultants and partners in solving complex US GAAP, IFRS, and SEC accounting issues
• Draft technical memos, research updates, and documentation related to financial reporting standards
• Collaborate on client projects spanning multiple industries and accounting areas
• Participate in structured “expeditions” through EY’s 360 Careers program, which simulate real consulting engagements
• Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams and contribute to strategy discussions
• Apply technical knowledge while balancing business risk and client expectations

Qualifications & Eligibility
EY seeks candidates who are not only technically sound but also eager to grow into industry leaders. You’re a strong fit if you:
• Are pursuing a Bachelor’s or Graduate degree in Accounting
• Will meet CPA licensure requirements prior to full-time employment
• Have a GPA and academic track that reflect strong performance in relevant coursework
• Demonstrate strong communication, writing, and problem-solving skills
• Have access to reliable transportation for on-site work (driver’s license is recommended)
• Are open to travel and working extended hours when required
Preferred Skills:
• Foundational understanding of US GAAP and IFRS
• Previous leadership or project coordination experience in academic or extracurricular settings
• Ability to analyze and interpret evolving accounting standards
