This internship is part of Cisco’s highly regarded Leaders in Finance and Technology (LIFT) program. It is tailored for students looking to gain deep exposure to the corporate finance world while working on real-time projects that drive business decisions. Through this program, interns will receive hands-on training, mentorship, and insight into what it means to be a finance leader at a global tech company.
Roles & Responsibilities
As a Financial Analyst Intern, you will be given meaningful responsibilities from day one. Interns will have the chance to engage directly with core finance functions and help shape Cisco’s financial direction. Specific tasks may include:
• Assisting with financial planning, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Supporting internal teams during fiscal close and financial reporting cycles
• Creating and analyzing business models and performance dashboards
• Contributing to group projects and delivering presentations to senior finance leaders
• Collaborating with peers across Accounting, Commercial Finance, and Strategy teams
• Learning tools like Excel, Power BI, and Cisco’s internal analytics platforms

Qualifications & Eligibility
To qualify for this internship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
• Enrolled in a 4-year undergraduate program majoring in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related business field
• Expected graduation between December 2026 and June 2027
• Students pursuing a 1-year master’s program after undergrad are also welcome to apply
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without future sponsorship
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with financial modeling is a plus
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
