This internship puts you in the heart of BCG’s client work. Like full-time consultants, you’ll be staffed on real cases addressing complex business problems and working side-by-side with experienced BCGers and client teams. Projects vary widely—from corporate strategy and digital transformation to sustainability initiatives—but all provide a steep learning curve and measurable impact.

Roles & Responsibilities

As an MBA Consultant Intern at BCG, you will:

Collaborate with BCG project teams to research, analyze, and structure solutions for client challenges.
Conduct rigorous quantitative and qualitative analyses to generate insights for high-stakes decisions.
Develop client recommendations and prepare presentations that tell a compelling story backed by data.
Participate in client meetings and workshops, learning to manage relationships with senior stakeholders.
Travel to client sites as needed to understand operations on the ground and drive implementation.
Build your consulting toolkit—problem structuring, hypothesis testing, synthesis, and story-lining—while receiving regular feedback and coaching.

Qualifications & Eligibility

BCG is seeking outstanding MBA students who demonstrate:

Enrollment in a full-time MBA program at an accredited university (graduating in 2026 or 2027).
Strong academic performance and analytical ability.
Professional experience prior to business school (consulting, industry, start-up, non-profit, or military).
Leadership skills and evidence of impact through work, school, or community involvement.
Willingness to travel and to be based in one of BCG’s U.S. offices.
Valid work authorization for the U.S. (no sponsorship provided for internship roles).

Pay: First-year Consultant base compensation is $190,000 USD (internship pay pro-rated) plus eligibility for performance bonuses.
