Roles & Responsibilities
During your internship, you will play an active role in supporting Baker Hughes’ finance operations, strategy, and planning functions. Your key responsibilities will include:
• Analyzing financial data, including income statements, balance sheets, and variance reports
• Supporting the budgeting and forecasting processes across multiple business units
• Building models to assess operational performance and generate actionable insights
• Assisting with internal and external audits, providing data and documentation
• Leveraging tools like Excel, financial software, and ERP systems for reporting tasks
• Participating in team meetings, cross-functional collaborations, and process improvement initiatives
• Learning and applying Baker Hughes’ HS&E standards in all finance-related activities

Qualifications & Eligibility
Baker Hughes is seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented students who are ready to take on meaningful financial work. Ideal candidates will meet the following criteria:
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business
• Maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher (on a 4.0 scale)
• Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal)
• Proficiency in Excel and exposure to financial tools/systems preferred
• Willingness to relocate to Houston, Texas for the internship period
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
