This internship is part of Amazon’s broader Finance Program, where interns join top-tier teams supporting business and financial decisions across Amazon’s diverse portfolio—from AWS to Devices to Stores. This role is in-person only and provides a pathway to potential full-time roles within Amazon Finance.
Roles & Responsibilities
As a Business Unit Financial Analyst Intern, you will take ownership of a key project that directly supports Amazon’s financial and strategic goals. Responsibilities include:

Conduct in-depth data analysis to support financial decision-making.

Design and automate reporting tools for business teams.

Develop financial models for cost analysis and investment recommendations.

Present your findings to finance and business leadership.

Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, operations, and technical teams.

Participate in leadership development sessions and career-building workshops.

Qualifications & Eligibility
Amazon is looking for self-motivated and analytically driven candidates who can think critically and work independently. Applicants must meet the following criteria:

Must be 18 years or older.

Enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in finance, accounting, economics, or business-related field.

Graduation between December 2026 and June 2027.

Able to work 40 hours per week onsite for 12 weeks in Summer 2026.

Comfortable relocating to Seattle or Arlington (relocation assistance available).

No visa sponsorship is provided.

Familiarity with Excel, data modeling, or financial tools preferred.

Strong communication skills and the ability to present complex data simply.
