Internship Overview

📌 Position: Business Operations Intern
📍 Location: Wichita, Kansas
⏱ Time Commitment: Full Time

Join the Business Analytics & Operations team at Airbus’ Wichita campus, located within Wichita State University’s innovation hub. You’ll be helping track operational performance, support engineering analytics, and create real-time insights for strategic decisions.

Roles & Responsibilities

As a Business Operations Intern, your day-to-day work will include:

Supporting data collection, analytics, and reporting for engineering performance tracking.
Assisting with the design and rollout of dashboards and data visualizations using tools like Tableau.
Preparing predictive models, reports, and visual summaries to assist leadership decision-making.
Managing and cleansing datasets across databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle).
Collaborating across engineering and analytics teams on performance forecasting and modeling.
Assisting in process improvement and visual management development.
Helping end users with analytics tools and training on reporting products.
Validating new tools and presenting insights to regional teams and leadership.

Qualifications & Eligibility

This role is a great fit if you’re passionate about data, visualization, and aerospace innovation. You should be:

A current student pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
Based in the Wichita, KS metro area.
Experienced with data visualization tools (Tableau preferred).
Comfortable using Alteryx, SQL databases, or programming languages such as Python, C++, or .NET.
Skilled in statistics and modeling (regression, optimization, time series, etc.).
Strong in communication and collaborative across functions.
Able to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
