Roles & Responsibilities
As an IT Intern, you’ll take on a wide variety of assignments based on your skills and interests. Responsibilities may include:

Supporting application development, database management, or system integration

Participating in cloud technology, AI/ML, cybersecurity, or analytics projects

Writing, debugging, or testing software and internal tools
-
Contributing to web development, user experience, or digital transformation tasks

Working with agile development teams and gaining exposure to DevOps workflows

Assisting with data analysis, automation, and reporting for business units

Collaborating with other interns and departments on special summer initiatives

Preparing documentation and presentations related to your project
Qualifications & Eligibility
Abbott is seeking future IT professionals who are eager to learn, grow, and make a difference. You should meet the following criteria:

Pursuing a Bachelor’s (Sophomore or Junior year) or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or related field

Returning to school after the summer internship ends

Minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale
