Internship Overview

📌 Position: Fall 2025 Intern
📍 Location: Arecibo, Puerto Rico, USA
⏱ Time Commitment: Full-time

As a Fall Intern at ABB, you’ll join the ELSP Americas Hub, based at ABB’s Manufacturing Site in Arecibo. You’ll work closely with the Quality team and collaborate with various departments, gaining hands-on experience while supporting daily operations and project work.

Roles & Responsibilities

You will be involved in multiple aspects of ABB’s operations and contribute meaningfully to ongoing projects. Your key responsibilities will include:

Assisting teams with coordination and execution of ongoing projects and internal operations
Collaborating across departments to ensure timely completion of deliverables
Participating in brainstorming sessions, team meetings, and internal quality reviews
Learning ABB systems and processes while gaining insight into real-world business and engineering practices
Identifying client needs and helping to align project efforts with customer expectations
Accepting feedback from mentors and team members to improve performance and output

Qualifications & Eligibility

This internship is open to motivated students who meet the following criteria:

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in one of the following disciplines:
- Industrial Engineering
- Software Engineering
- Computer Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
Must be enrolled at a U.S.-based academic institution
Must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Able to manage time efficiently and juggle multiple tasks
Comfortable working in a collaborative environment and contributing during team discussions
Strong critical thinking and communication skills
