Job Overview

This role sits within the Commercial Engineering Organization, a team responsible for improving how customers interact with Thomson Reuters’ digital platforms. As an Associate Salesforce Engineer, you will work closely with senior engineers, technical leads, and architects to design and implement solutions across Sales Cloud and related systems.

Roles & Responsibilities

As an Associate Salesforce Engineer, you will:

  • Build, customize, and support applications using APEX, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and Flow.

  • Implement automation using no-code and low-code Salesforce tools.

  • Work with REST and SOAP APIs to integrate Salesforce with enterprise systems.

  • Test and validate integrations using tools such as Postman.

  • Understand and follow Salesforce release cycles, sandbox processes, and deployment workflows.

  • Use version-control systems like Git to manage development changes.

  • Collaborate with technical leads, product teams, and other engineering groups to define requirements and estimate solutions.

  • Prepare clear technical documentation, contribute to design discussions, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Eligibility

You are suitable for this role if you have:

  • 1–2 years of experience with Salesforce development (Sales Cloud, APEX, Visualforce, LWC).

  • Strong understanding of Salesforce platform architecture.

  • Familiarity with workflows, Flows, dashboards, and reports.

  • Experience in API integrations using REST/SOAP.

  • Basic knowledge of Git, Data Loader, Workbench, or integration tools like MuleSoft/Zapier.

  • A collaborative mindset with strong problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work in hybrid teams and communicate effectively.

Note: This is a full-time job — not an internship. Applicants must be legally eligible to work in India.
