Internship Overview

📌 Position: Software Engineer – NodeJs & React Fullstack
📍 Location: Bangalore, India
🗓 Duration: Permanent, full-time role
⏱ Time Commitment: 40 hours/week, hybrid work setup

Roles & Responsibilities

As part of an agile delivery team, your role is to deliver scalable, maintainable software across the full tech stack. Your responsibilities will include:

Collaborating with product owners to refine business requirements into technical tasks
Leading impact analysis and technical design for new features and system enhancements
Writing clean, testable code using NodeJs and ReactJS frameworks
Developing RESTful web services using NodeJs, Spring Boot, and PostgreSQL
Building user interfaces using React v17, Redux, and Material UI
Participating in daily Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, retrospectives, and poker planning
Performing code reviews and enforcing clean coding standards
Contributing to CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Docker
Analyzing and resolving production issues efficiently with DevOps practices
Supporting UAT phases, deployment activities, and technical documentation

Qualifications & Eligibility

Societe Generale is looking for developers who are proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about building scalable solutions. The ideal candidate should have:

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Proficiency in NodeJs, ReactJS (v17+), and REST API architecture
Familiarity with GitHub, Jenkins, and modern CI/CD pipelines
Experience with testing frameworks such as Cypress, Playwright, Jest, or Karate
Strong understanding of relational databases (preferably PostgreSQL)
Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS and containerization with Docker
Prior experience in Agile Scrum methodology and full software development lifecycle
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively
