📌 Position: Associate Engineer

This is a hands-on engineering position where you’ll work on designing and implementing User Interfaces (UI) for industrial instruments—specifically for Emerson’s world-class pressure and temperature measurement devices. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, engage in UI testing, and gain real-world exposure to embedded systems in global markets.
Roles & Responsibilities
As an Associate Engineer at Emerson, your role involves real contribution to mission-critical hardware products and embedded systems. You will:

Design and implement user interfaces that comply with strict functional safety standards

Write and maintain embedded software using EDDL, C, or C++

Conduct thorough peer reviews to maintain high code quality

Manage source code using version control systems like Git or SVN

Develop and execute unit and integration tests for UI modules

Troubleshoot and resolve software and hardware/software integration bugs

Analyze existing UI architecture to identify and improve performance or usability issues

Use engineering tools like oscilloscopes, meters, logic analyzers, and debugging instruments for embedded testing

Qualifications & Eligibility

Between 1–2 years of relevant experience in embedded UI development or software engineering

Solid programming experience in C, C++, or EDDL

Familiarity with version control systems such as Git or SVN

Basic knowledge of industrial protocols like Modbus, Ethernet, HART, SPI, I2C, or CAN

Experience with embedded testing tools and frameworks
