Role Overview
📌 Position: Associate Software Engineer
📍Location: Pune
⏱ Time Commitment: Full-time
You will join a cross‑functional scrum team delivering new features every sprint. Expect to own complete stories—from reading user requirements to coding, testing, and production support—while mentoring newer graduates and contributing to architectural discussions.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and enhance web applications and microservices using ASP.NET, C#, .NET 6/7, and React.
• Write clean, testable code; follow TDD practices with NUnit/xUnit; prioritize “first‑time right” deliveries.
• Contribute to solution design sessions, suggesting scalable patterns that abide by SOLID principles.
• Build and optimize SQL/Postgres queries; troubleshoot performance or concurrency issues in production.
• Create secure APIs that follow industry best practices and pass internal security scans.
• Investigate defects, produce detailed root‑cause analyses, and collaborate with global DevOps and Release teams to deploy fixes smoothly.
• Stay current on Gen‑AI trends; experiment with AI tools to boost developer productivity and enrich product capabilities.
• Document technical decisions, mentor juniors, and champion code reviews to maintain a high engineering bar.
Qualifications & Eligibility
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 1–2 years of hands‑on experience in ASP.NET Core, C#, Microservices, and RESTful APIs.
• Good command of relational databases (SQL Server or Postgres) and at least one ORM (Entity Framework, NHibernate, etc.).
• Exposure to React (or Angular) for modern UI work; familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
• Understanding of secure coding, OWASP Top 10, and API authentication standards (OAuth2/JWT).
• Solid problem‑solving skills—able to reason about algorithms, design patterns, and concurrency.
• Clear written and verbal communication; comfortable partnering with product managers and UX designers.
• Bonus points for knowledge of MongoDB, AWS services, containerization, or automated performance testing.
