Roles & Responsibilities
As an apprentice at Trellix, you will
-
Write clean, well‑structured code—your work will follow modern development standards.

Apply object‑oriented design principles and common software patterns.
-
Join code reviews with peers and mentors, gaining feedback and growing your skills.
-
Create and run unit tests; collaborate with automation teams on test scripts.
-
Automate development workflows using Python or similar tools.
-
Troubleshoot performance and functional issues across Windows, Linux, and cloud environments.

Help deploy code to live systems on AWS or virtualized platforms.

Read and contribute to documentation, helping keep processes transparent and repeatable.

Partner with global engineering and security teams to uphold best practices across the software lifecycle.
Qualifications & Eligibility

Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (minimum CGPA 7.5).

Have strong programming skills in C++, Java, or Python.

Understand data structures, operating systems, networks, and RDBMS basics.

Are familiar with development tools such as Visual Studio or debuggers like WinDbg.

Work well in a team, communicate clearly, and can break down complex challenges methodically.

Are eager to learn new technologies—experience with AWS or cloud stacks is a plus.

Have exposure to cybersecurity fundamentals or ML concepts (nice to have but not required).
