Roles & Responsibilities
As an Associate Audio Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
-
Designing and developing software modules for audio and voice use cases
-
Working on optimization tasks for memory and MIPS on DSP systems
-
Debugging and improving real-time software performance on embedded platforms
-
Collaborating on driver development for audio interfaces such as I2S, HDMI, and SPDIF
-
Enhancing support for audio processing features like echo cancellation, audio effects, and noise suppression
-
Supporting audio compression and speech codec integration (MP3, AAC, FLAC, AMR, EVS, etc.)
-
Participating in design reviews, peer code evaluations, and performance tuning
-
Creating documentation and contributing to internal tool development for audio verification and testing
Qualifications & Eligibility
To apply for this role, you’ll need the following:

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field

1–2 years of experience in DSP/Embedded systems software development
-
Proficiency in C/C++ programming and understanding of computer architecture
-
Familiarity with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and multithreaded programming
-
Hands-on experience with debugging tools like Trace32, JTAG, or similar platforms
-
Good understanding of audio signal flow, driver integration, and use-case testing
Preferred Skills:

Audio processing or digital signal processing (DSP) experience
-
Familiarity with SDLC practices, including Agile and DevOps workflows
-
Exposure to audio streaming, recording/playback technologies
-
Interest in consumer electronics and user experience optimization

Strong analytical thinking and a team-first mindset
