This role falls under Oracle’s Product Development division. As a Software Developer 1, you’ll contribute to building, debugging, and maintaining Oracle software products. It’s a perfect fit for someone who wants to work at the intersection of technology and real-world applications.

Roles & Responsibilities

You’ll be a part of Oracle’s software engineering division, where you will:

Write, enhance, and maintain software code based on technical specifications.
Develop new software features, reports, and dashboards using SQL and PL/SQL.
Debug issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes.
Participate in team-level architecture and design discussions.
Gather user and business requirements and translate them into working software solutions.
Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
Contribute to software releases and manage post-deployment support.
Suggest improvements for existing processes, both technically and operationally.

Qualifications & Eligibility

Applicants should meet the following requirements:

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in one of the following:
- Computer Science
- Software Engineering
- Computer Applications
- Information Technology
- Related technical fields
Experience level: 0 to 2+ years in a software development role
Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and basic understanding of programming languages like Java, Python, or C++
Familiarity with Git or similar version control tools
Ability to write clean, maintainable code and test thoroughly
Must be legally eligible to work in India (no visa sponsorship available)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multitask, manage time, and collaborate in a team setting
Exposure to BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Oracle-specific reporting systems
