Internship Overview

📌 Position: UI/UX Design Intern
📍 Location: Trivandrum, India
⏱ Time Commitment: Full-time

This internship is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in designing intuitive user interfaces and experiences for digital platforms. Interns will work directly with EY’s Digital Engineering team to support design thinking, prototyping, and front-end innovation.

Roles & Responsibilities

As a UI/UX Design Intern, you’ll work alongside experienced designers and consultants to create thoughtful and practical digital experiences. Your key responsibilities will include:

Learning and using design tools like Figma, Adobe CC, and Sketch
Participating in research to understand user needs and business goals
Assisting in creating wireframes, interaction flows, and UI mockups
Collaborating with design and tech teams to brainstorm solutions
Contributing to interface content writing and layout decisions
Supporting branding and visual consistency across projects
Exploring HTML/CSS basics (optional) and front-end design frameworks
Presenting ideas and participating in team design reviews

Qualifications & Eligibility

EY welcomes applications from students with a passion for design and innovation. Ideal candidates will meet the following criteria:

Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Engineering, Art, Animation, Computer Science, or a related field
Familiarity with Figma, Photoshop, Adobe XD, or willingness to learn prior to start
Interest in design thinking and human-centered design
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Creativity, problem-solving mindset, and an eagerness to learn
Willingness to collaborate in a team environment
Open to feedback and quick to iterate designs
