Internship Overview

📌 Position: IT Manufacturing Intern

📍 Location: Fremont, California (On-site)

🗓 Duration: September 2025 – December 2025 (potential to extend into Spring 2026)

⏱ Time Commitment: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Roles & Responsibilities
As an IT Manufacturing Intern at Tesla, you will:

Deploy and maintain endpoint devices including laptops, tablets, POS terminals, printers, and digital signage.
-
Respond to daily IT incidents and troubleshoot hardware and infrastructure issues.
-
Monitor system and network availability across Tesla’s production sites.
-
Identify network issues early and resolve them before they escalate.
-
Work alongside IT teams to install and manage hardware in production environments.
-
Travel occasionally to remote Tesla sites for urgent IT support.
Qualifications & Eligibility
Who can apply:-
-
Currently enrolled in a Computer Science, Networking, Information Systems, or a related degree program, graduating between 2025–2026.
-
Basic knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
-
Strong understanding of networking fundamentals like TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routers, and switches.
-
Familiarity with Active Directory, Azure, SCCM, JAMF, and Intune MDM.
-
Authorization to work in the United States (visa sponsorship is not available).
Bonus Skills:-
-
Experience with SD-WAN and IPSec network technologies.

Knowledge of PowerShell or Python scripting.

Ability to support Android and Apple mobile devices.
