Internship Overview

This internship is a hands-on opportunity for graduate students to work with T-Mobile’s fast-moving finance teams. Interns support critical financial planning activities, forecasting models, budget processes, reporting cycles, and digital transformation initiatives that help shape the company’s financial direction. You’ll work alongside analysts, managers, and cross-functional teams who will challenge you to think differently, present clearly, and use data to drive business decisions.

Roles & Responsibilities

During this internship, your responsibilities will include:

• Leading parts of budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and month-end financial close work
• Conducting in-depth analysis to identify variances, risks, and financial opportunities
• Building and maintaining financial models and dashboards for leadership teams
• Automating manual reports and creating digital solutions using new tools
• Designing new ways to visualize financial insights for clarity and impact
• Working closely with teams in finance, operations, strategy, and data
• Supporting process improvement projects and strategic initiatives
• Presenting findings and recommendations to senior finance staff

Qualifications & Eligibility

To be considered, applicants should meet the following:

• Currently enrolled in a graduate program (MBA, Master’s in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field)
• Strong foundation in financial modeling, analysis, and business problem-solving
• Proficiency in Excel and exposure to Tableau, Power BI, SQL, Python, or VBA
• Ability to interpret financial and operational data in a business-focused manner
• Strong communication, teamwork, and presentation skills
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• At least 18 years old
• Must be actively enrolled in a degree program or recently graduated
• Employees of T-Mobile/Metro by T-Mobile are not eligible
• No visa sponsorship available for this role
