Internship Overview
• 📌 Position: Summer Analyst Internship – Global Markets, Sales
• 📍 Location: Miami, Florida
• ⏱ Time Commitment: Full-time
This internship is part of the Global Markets Americas (GMA) division. The program is rotational, allowing interns to work with two different Global Business Lines during the summer. These business lines include Global Credit, Global Equities, Equity Derivatives (EQD), Foreign Exchange & Local Markets (FXLM), G10 Rates, Markets 360 Research, Prime Solutions & Financing (PS&F), and more.
The role is primarily Sales-focused, involving market analysis, research preparation, and commentary development for internal and external audiences. Interns learn how global markets operate, how client relationships are built, and how market intelligence is used to support business decisions.
Roles & Responsibilities
As a Summer Analyst Intern, you will:
• Conduct market research and analyze global market trends across multiple asset classes
• Prepare client-ready presentations, internal reports, and daily/weekly market commentary
• Support sales teams in identifying new opportunities and maintaining strong client relationships
• Rotate across different desks to gain exposure to credit, equities, FX, derivatives, research, and financing solutions
• Participate in training sessions covering financial markets, macro trends, and BNP’s business model
• Collaborate with analysts, associates, and senior members to support ongoing projects
• Attend speaker sessions, networking events, and team meetings to understand the industry from multiple angles
• Work on technical assignments designed to strengthen financial and analytical skills
Qualifications & Eligibility
BNP Paribas is seeking students who meet the following criteria:
• Graduation year: Winter 2027 – Spring 2028
• All majors are welcome; STEM degrees are a plus
• A strong academic record with solid analytical and quantitative abilities
• Understanding of management accounting is beneficial
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Fast learner with strong problem-solving abilities
• Authorization to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship provided)
