Internship Overview

• 📌 Position: Clinical Project Scientist – Summer Intern

• 📍 Location: Horsham, Pennsylvania (Hybrid Work Model)

• ⏱ Time Commitment: Full-time

This role is a part of the Immunology Medical Affairs division. Interns support the execution of clinical study programs, scientific collaborations, and post-marketing research activities for cutting-edge immunology therapies.

You will be working alongside Clinical Project Scientists, Medical Affairs teams, and Medical Directors — gaining a realistic view of how clinical evidence is generated, validated, and used to support treatments already helping patients.

Unique Insight:

Many science students only see the laboratory side of healthcare. This role reveals the strategic and operational backbone — how scientific data becomes usable knowledge for doctors and regulators. By understanding this process early, you gain career leverage for roles in Pharma, R&D, Clinical Operations, Regulatory Affairs, and Medical Affairs.


Roles & Responsibilities

During this internship, you may:

• Assist with activities supporting ongoing Medical Affairs studies
• Help track project timelines, progress, and deliverables
• Review clinical documentation under guidance from CPS mentors
• Participate in team meetings and cross-functional collaborations
• Support data analysis tasks and internal scientific communication
• Gain exposure to how investigator-initiated research operates
• Contribute to evidence generation supporting immunology therapies
• Engage with various teams across Research, Commercial, and Clinical Operations

Your contributions influence studies involving real patients. These experiences help you develop both scientific depth and professional confidence in fast-paced clinical environments.


Qualifications & Eligibility

The ideal candidate should have:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field
(Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Life Sciences, etc.)
• Completed at least 2–3 years of academic coursework
• Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel (graphing + tables), PowerPoint
• Analytical mindset with attention to scientific accuracy
• Ability to work independently and in collaborative teams
• Must be permanently authorized to work in the U.S.
