Roles & Responsibilities

Support the Derivative Product Group (DPG) across sales, trading, and operations.

Assist with analysis related to interest rate and commodity derivatives, swaps, swaptions, caps, floors, and risk scenarios.

Track economic indicators such as inflation, monetary policy updates, and yield curve shifts.

Participate in academic sessions on capital markets concepts and derivative pricing.

Conduct research and prepare materials for internal or client meetings.

Work with trading and sales teams to understand deal flow and client strategies.

Help with operational activities and documentation related to transactions.

Engage in professional development, networking, and mentorship sessions with senior leaders.
Qualifications & Eligibility
Required:

Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Financial Engineering, Mathematics, or related field

Expected graduation: Dec 2026 – Spring 2027

Ability to start on June 1, 2026

Willing to work from Chicago OR Charlotte office (hybrid)

Strong curiosity about markets and derivatives

Good analytical thinking and communication skills

Knowledge of macroeconomic trends, monetary policy, and interest rate theory

Familiarity with swaps, futures, or other derivative instruments
