This remote internship allows you to work flexibly while contributing to high-impact projects that shape Pinterest’s core user experience. You’ll work with teams across product, design, and engineering, learning the systems that power one of the most beloved social platforms in the world.
Roles & Responsibilities
As an intern, you’ll dive into product-scale challenges and get hands-on with code from day one. Your responsibilities include:

Building features for Pinterest’s web or mobile applications alongside full-time engineers.

Writing production-ready code that is scalable, secure, and well-documented.

Participating in peer code reviews and team sprint planning.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve user-facing and backend challenges.

Creating solutions that impact how people save, discover, and organize content.

Engaging in mentorship sessions and engineering talks with Pinterest leaders.
Qualifications & Eligibility
To apply, you must meet the following criteria:

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program in Computer Science or a related technical field.

Expected graduation date: June 2028 or later.

Completed 2–3 years of core computer science coursework (e.g., Algorithms, Operating Systems, Data Structures).

Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, C++, JavaScript, Go, or HTML/CSS.

Experience through non-academic work such as GitHub projects, coding competitions, hackathons, or open-source contributions.

Ability to work legally in the United States without visa sponsorship.
