Roles & Responsibilities
As a Quality Engineering Intern, you’ll be working alongside experienced professionals to ensure product quality and process integrity. Key responsibilities include:
• Support continuous improvement in design and manufacturing by performing FMEAs (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis).
• Collaborate on root cause analysis and help implement CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions).
• Gather and analyze feedback from customer service, supply chain, and factory teams to improve product performance.
• Work with cross-functional teams on quality metrics, data visualization, and operational excellence projects.
• Use tools like Excel, MATLAB, Python, or Tableau for insights and reporting.
• Assist in shaping new quality strategies and training programs within the development team.
This isn’t a shadowing internship—expect to get your hands dirty and play an active role in problem-solving and decision-making.
Qualifications & Eligibility
ASML is looking for high-potential interns who can learn fast and take initiative. Ideal candidates will have:
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Mechanical, Electrical, Optical, Industrial, Mechatronic Engineering, or Applied Physics.
• At least 2 years of undergraduate coursework completed.
• Technical knowledge in areas such as data analysis, Python, MATLAB, JavaScript, SQL, or ERP systems is a plus.
• Proficiency in English—both written and verbal—is required.
• Ability to think critically, work in teams, and manage time across multiple assignments.
• U.S. work authorization required
