This internship falls under the Group Functions division, providing exposure to internal audit work across business units such as wealth management, investment banking, and operational risk. It’s a hands-on opportunity designed to prepare students for roles in finance, audit, and corporate governance.

Roles & Responsibilities

During the internship, you’ll work on real projects alongside experienced audit professionals and gain exposure to core audit processes. Your key responsibilities will include:

Reviewing business processes, products, and internal control systems
Learning how governance and compliance mechanisms operate within financial services
Assisting in detecting control gaps and suggesting improvements
Participating in team discussions around risk assessments and audit scoping
Supporting report generation and findings documentation
Gaining firsthand insight into internal audit methodologies
Working cross-functionally across audit teams and business stakeholders

Qualifications & Eligibility

UBS is seeking students who are detail-oriented, intellectually curious, and eager to make an impact. Eligible candidates should meet the following criteria:

Pursuing a bachelor’s degree with graduation between December 2026 and June 2027
Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
Strong analytical and communication skills
Demonstrated interest in finance, business, risk, or data analysis
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (UBS does not sponsor OPT, CPT, or H-1B for this role)
Students from all majors are welcome — business, economics, accounting, or finance are a plus
