Internship Overview

• 📌 Position: Associate Relations Intern

• 📍 Location: Spartanburg, SC

• ⏱ Time Commitment: Full-time


Roles & Responsibilities

This isn’t your average HR internship. As an Associate Relations Intern, you’ll be actively contributing to employee engagement strategies, process improvements, and internal project management initiatives. You’ll gain hands-on exposure to how HR supports workforce development in a global manufacturing environment.

• Support ongoing Associate Relations initiatives related to morale, engagement, and feedback systems
• Assist with performance management tracking and internal policy adherence
• Collaborate on associate appeal and termination procedures
• Participate in ongoing HR project planning and execution
• Create dashboards to visualize key HR metrics and associate insights
• Conduct audits and help streamline associate-related processes
• Attend team meetings, present findings, and receive mentorship from senior HR professionals
• Take ownership of special assignments that align with your career interests


Qualifications & Eligibility

This internship is designed for proactive students eager to understand how HR shapes a high-performing organization. Here’s what makes you a good fit:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or a related field
• Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (from current university for transfer students)
• Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Must be able to work full-time on-site 
• Must submit unofficial transcript with application
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• Must pass a substance abuse test before the internship term begins
