This Associate Consultant role is based in Oracle’s Financial Services Finergy Division, part of the Oracle Financial Services Global Business Unit (FSGBU). This unit specializes in building customized technology solutions for banks and financial institutions, offering candidates hands-on exposure to mission-critical applications and global delivery frameworks.
This role is an excellent opportunity for candidates with 0–2+ years of experience in application support or IT service delivery, particularly those who are looking to grow into consulting or solution implementation in the BFSI (Banking, Financial Services & Insurance) domain.
Roles & Responsibilities
As an Associate Consultant, you’ll work on application support, triaging, incident management, and process improvement. Key responsibilities include:

Monitor and triage events from Glass or Mailbox and resolve issues based on existing knowledge bases.

Perform application recovery, service restarts, and validation tasks.

Use certified procedures to manage incidents and participate in root cause analysis (RCA).

Collaborate with L2 and monitoring teams to enhance system reliability.

Manage job batches, deployments, and weekend maintenance support.

Ensure compliance with SLAs and contribute to ITIL-based process improvement.

Coordinate during major incidents affecting wider business operations.

Participate in knowledge transfer activities and maintain documentation.
Qualifications & Eligibility
Oracle is seeking proactive professionals who can work under pressure and contribute to critical support operations. Ideal candidates should have:

A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.

2+ years of hands-on experience in application support (banking domain preferred).

Solid understanding of ITIL practices (certification is a plus).

Ability to work in 24×7 rotational shifts (including weekends).

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
