This internship is part of BNP Paribas’ Financial Synthesis team, a division within the Finance department. Interns will engage with financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and performance analysis, offering direct exposure to the inner workings of a globally recognized financial institution.

Roles & Responsibilities

As a Summer Analyst, your role will be dynamic and hands-on. You will:

Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for U.S. entities.
Contribute to the production and filing of regulatory reports, ensuring timely compliance.
Support audits by compiling key documentation and responding to data requests.
Participate in real-world accounting tasks including RWA/Basel III reporting.
Work alongside internal teams and external auditors to validate financial integrity.
Gain exposure to accounting policies, controls, and tax-related processes.
Collaborate in cross-functional finance and control meetings to understand holistic financial operations.

Qualifications & Eligibility

This internship is crafted for highly driven individuals preparing to launch their careers in finance or accounting. Ideal candidates must have:

Graduation date between Winter 2026 and Spring 2027 (college juniors preferred)
A strong academic background in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fields (open to all majors)
A clear understanding of basic accounting principles and financial statements
Strong communication skills – both written and verbal
A fast learning curve and results-oriented mindset
Familiarity with Excel, data analysis tools, or financial modeling (a plus)
