This internship is offered under Motorola’s Cloud Platform Engineering team, a critical arm of its Software Enterprise division. Interns here don’t just write code—they help develop, secure, and monitor foundational infrastructure used globally in high-stakes public safety environments.
Roles & Responsibilities
You’ll get hands-on experience solving problems that truly matter. Expect to:

Design and implement CI/CD pipelines into multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Develop REST APIs and platform services used by internal engineering teams.

Improve system performance, reliability, and security through automation and diagnostics.

Deploy applications and services that directly support Motorola’s SaaS customers.

Engage in DevOps, write clean documentation, and participate in agile sprints.
You’ll also collaborate with platform engineers, cybersecurity experts, and data architects—building real infrastructure that impacts cities, hospitals, and public safety teams worldwide.
Qualifications & Eligibility
Motorola is looking for learners who are curious, skilled, and ready to contribute:

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related fields.

Knowledge of Node.js and AngularJS (must-have); familiarity with Python, HTML/CSS, or Azure DevOps is a bonus.

Comfortable with REST API development and relational databases.

Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and support deployments.
