As a Business Analyst specializing in Cloud and FinOps, you will be embedded within the Cloud Platform Engineering team. This role is integral to bridging technical and financial strategy, optimizing cloud costs, and shaping Motorola’s broader cloud adoption and usage standards.

Roles & Responsibilities

Act as a key liaison between business units, engineering teams, and cloud vendors.
Translate business requirements into cloud-based solutions and technical documentation.
Analyze cloud usage data to identify cost-saving opportunities and enhance transparency.
Build and manage budgeting frameworks and cost allocation models across departments.
Support teams in adopting FinOps principles for better financial efficiency.
Prepare dashboards and reports showcasing KPIs related to cost, usage, and savings.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives around billing accuracy and cloud governance.
Train teams on cloud cost management tools and financial accountability.

Qualifications & Eligibility

Ideal candidates should meet the following criteria:

A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, IT, or a related discipline.
Working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their pricing structures.
Proficient in Excel and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) for data interpretation.
Familiarity with FinOps practices and cost management tools like AWS Cost Explorer or Azure Cost Management.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Prior experience with cloud billing models and tagging strategies is preferred.
FinOps or cloud certification (AWS Cloud Practitioner, FinOps Practitioner) is a plus.
