Roles & Responsibilities

As a Tax Intern, you’ll work closely with teams serving Japanese-owned businesses in the U.S. Your day-to-day work may include:

Assisting clients with corporate tax compliance, planning, and research
Helping prepare U.S. tax returns for Japanese companies
Supporting accounting for income taxes
Collaborating with specialists across departments on tax engagements
Learning tax technology tools like Power BI, Alteryx, and AI-driven platforms

Qualifications & Eligibility

You should apply if you meet the following:

Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Accounting, Taxation, Finance, Math, Economics, IT, or related fields
Graduation between December 2026 and September 2027
Actively pursuing CPA eligibility (academic credits must be completed before full-time role)
Preferred GPA of 3.0+
Bilingual in English and Japanese (preferred for this role)
Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills
Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
Authorization to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship (preferred)
