Roles & Responsibilities
As aSoftware Testing at Emerson, your day-to-day responsibilities will focus on building, testing, and refining cutting-edge automation products. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams in an agile setting. Tasks include:

Designing and executing test plans, including strategy, estimation, and documentation
-
Creating, managing, and maintaining test environments
-
Analyzing test data and maintaining logs related to test metrics (pass/fail counts, critical bugs, etc.)
-
Collaborating with developers to enhance test coverage and system performance
-
Setting up test rigs and equipment like oscilloscopes, function generators, and analyzers
-
Supporting the team in industrial communication protocol testing (TCP/IP, RS232, SPI, Ethernet, etc.)
Qualifications & Eligibility
Emerson seeks committed individuals with a technical background and problem-solving mindset. You should:

Be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Instrumentation, or Computer Engineering

Have hands-on exposure to scripting or coding in Python, JavaScript, VB Script, or C
-
Be familiar with automation testing tools or frameworks (like LabVIEW or PLC programming)
-
Understand communication protocols and experience with industrial system testing

Be comfortable using tools like GIT, Jira, Bugzilla, SVN, and other version-control and bug-tracking platforms

Have strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit

Be based in India and eligible to work in the country without visa restrictions
