Internship Overview

Roles & Responsibilities

As an AIML Intern, you’ll get the chance to contribute meaningfully while learning directly from experienced mentors.
• Work with project leads to design and implement solutions in data modeling and pattern recognition
• Collaborate with teams to evaluate system performance and optimize algorithms
• Participate in regular meetings and brainstorming sessions to share research findings
• Assist in building tools and prototypes used for data analysis or model development
• Document your work, processes, and progress throughout the internship

Qualifications & Eligibility

Here’s what Apple is looking for in a strong intern candidate:
• Enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate, or PhD program in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field
• Returning to school after the internship (or this internship must be your final graduation requirement)
• Exposure to programming languages such as Python, Swift, Java, or Objective-C
• Comfort with tools like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar ML frameworks
• Interest in fields such as optimization, computer vision, natural language understanding, or user behavior modeling
• Enthusiastic about solving real-world challenges with data
• Open to learning, adapting, and contributing to a collaborative environment
• Previous project or coursework in ML/AI is helpful, but not mandatory
