Roles & Responsibilities
As a Machine Learning Intern at DoorDash, you’ll work on high-impact projects and collaborate with research and engineering teams. You may:

Conduct ML/AI research in areas like Recommender Systems, Search, Forecasting, Game Theory, Causal Inference, or Computer Vision

Build and deploy ML models using Python, TensorFlow, or PyTorch
-
Analyze large datasets and generate insights that improve product experiences

Write clean, production-ready code with a focus on scalability and performance

Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and data teams

Present your work and results to internal stakeholders
Qualifications & Eligibility
This internship is ideal for graduate-level students looking to get hands-on ML research experience. You should:

Be pursuing a Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, ML, Statistics, or a related field

Have a graduation date between Fall 2025 and Summer 2026

Know at least one systems language (Python, Java, GoLang, etc.)

Be comfortable with at least one ML framework (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.)

Have prior experience in research or data-driven problem-solving

Be passionate about real-world applications of machine learning

Be a team player and an effective communicator

Be authorized to work in the U.S. (interns requiring sponsorship may not be eligible)
