Internship Overview

📌 Position: Android Developer
📍 Location: Bangalore, Karnataka (On-site)
🗓 Duration: Long-term (Full-time role)
⏱ Time Commitment: 40 hours/week (Full-time)

Roles & Responsibilities

Here’s what you’ll be working on as an Android Developer at Meesho:
• Build, enhance, and maintain features on the Android platform
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and QA teams for flawless execution
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code using Java or Kotlin
• Perform code reviews and participate in regular architectural discussions
• Work with libraries like Retrofit, Picasso, RxJava, and Arch Components
• Debug issues related to performance, memory usage, and background processes
• Implement new UI/UX using Material Design principles
• Assist in mentoring junior team members or interns
• Build PowerApps or integrations if needed
• Ship high-impact code used by millions of users

Qualifications & Eligibility

To be eligible, you should bring the following to the table:
• BE/BTech/BCA/BSc in Computer Science or a related technical discipline
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience in Android app development
• Familiarity with Android SDK, REST APIs, and common third-party libraries
• Solid understanding of MVVM architecture and debugging tools like ADB, Proguard
• Working knowledge of Git, version control, and CI/CD workflows
• Strong attention to detail and clean coding habits
• Passion for technology and ability to work independently or with a team
• Experience with published apps on Play Store is a bonus
