Internship Overview
• 📌 Position: Data Engineer Intern
• 📍 Location: Bangalore, India
• 🗓 Duration: 6 months
• ⏱ Time Commitment: Full-time
Roles & Responsibilities
• Collaborate with the Group Internal Audit (GIA) team to perform advanced data analysis and automation tasks
• Develop, maintain, and optimise scalable data models and pipelines using Python, SQL, and Hive
• Use analytics to identify audit risks and improve internal control measures
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code while working on data strategies with key audit stakeholders
• Provide insight through audit methodologies, and contribute to ongoing process improvements and automation initiatives
Qualifications & Eligibility
• Penultimate-year student from any discipline (preferred: STEM, Business, or related fields)
• Strong foundation in data analysis, modeling, or programming
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, or Hive; familiarity with other data tools is a plus
• Excellent collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills
